COVEN is an independent creative studio founded by Céline Tricart and Marie Blondiaux, two renowned producers and creators, Knights of the Order of Arts and Letters. Together, they built a studio dedicated to a singular vision of video games: immersive, poetic, and accessible experiences, where storytelling, emotion, and visual beauty take center stage.
Their first title, Masters of Light, pushed the limits of interactivity and won the award for Best European VR Game 2024, while also being nominated for XR Game of the Year. Building on this success, the studio expanded its scope to create games for PC and consoles, asserting its identity as a narrative and independent studio, no longer exclusively specialized in virtual reality.
Their second project, Haunted, is a cooperative horror game in mixed reality and PC, in which students of parapsychology explore a haunted Victorian mansion. Between puzzles, rituals, and paranormal phenomena, the game combines giallo aesthetics, psychological tension, and replayability.
Finally, Micromega, currently in development, is a poetic 2D adventure created in collaboration with the artist Mani. Inspired by the dualities of the inner world and the laws of physics, the game blends puzzles, drawing, and contemplation in a dreamlike and metaphorical universe.
COVEN is committed to developing creations that are both bold and inclusive, driven by a diverse team in which women play an essential role, particularly in technical and creative positions that remain underrepresented in the industry.
