Herringen takes place in an uncertain world; the player doesn't directly know where, or even what era they are in.

The Pilot is alone in an old ship, facing vast inorganic monsters, thrown into a battle that seems lost from the start.

Herringen is a challenging arcade game that borrows from flight simulation with a retro aesthetic.

You control a ship equipped with powerful explosives and are tasked with destroying a massive Fortress in a harsh and unknown world.

Master your ship to dodge obstacles and projectiles at the last second, and destroy your target as fast as possible possible and with style to improve your score.
