Less than a year after a deadly epidemic decimated most of humanity, survivors continue to wander across the country, each following their own path. Along the way, they create Safe Zones: temporary refuges where they can catch their breath, regain their strength, and prepare for what the future holds. You are one of these Safe Zones.

Survivors will come and go, each bringing their own stories, resources, and needs. Get to know them, find out where they come from and where they're headed, and create a warm place where they can rest and feel safe.

Some will stay, others will eventually leave, perhaps never to return. But every encounter matters, and the memories you create together will stay etched in your mind.

As survivors pass through your Safe Zone, they'll bring you more and more items you can use. Furnish and decorate your refuge to make it both beautiful and comfortable.

Customize your walls, arrange your rooms, and create cozy spaces for your survivors. There's no right way to build a Safe Zone: create your own.

In Safe Zone, there's no rush. Take all the time you need to reach your goals, set up your refuge, and make your survivors feel at home.
