Perceptum is an indie psychological horror game of about 3 hours, centered on unease, doubt, and the feeling that something always escapes your gaze. You play as a medium investigating the unexplained disappearance of a family shortly after they moved into a new house. Inside, familiar places seem altered, silence becomes heavy, and your senses are no longer reliable. Explore the strange hallways of the house, close your eyes to hear the beyond, use your mirror to perceive the invisible, and reveal the truth buried within these walls.
Your objective
An entire family vanished without a trace. The investigation was eventually abandoned. Today, you are the last hope to understand what really happened. As a medium, you must explore the house and piece together the events. Search the premises, solve puzzles, and let your senses guide you through this linear horror experience.
Game experience
You have only two means to progress: a mirror and the ability to close your eyes. The mirror reveals the invisible, showing hidden traces and disturbing reflections. Closing your eyes makes you vulnerable, forcing you to listen to the house and follow sounds of uncertain origin. As you advance, you are torn between unease and curiosity. The atmosphere is oppressive, and the feeling of being watched never fully disappears.
The tension is constant, sometimes even heavy. The house reacts to your presence, and the mirror is never completely reliable. When a presence manifests, there is no way to defend yourself.
Trust your instincts. If you think you saw or heard something, it is probably not an illusion. Stay alert to every detail. You may not be alone.
