Information is a weapon. Load it yourself.
Media Riot is a multiplayer role-playing serious game, played by voice, where up to six players embody competing newsrooms. Objective: impose your editorial line and influence public opinion.
A three-step loop: collect, process, broadcast. Gather information, shape it according to your angle, publish before the others — and discredit their scoops along the way.
Everything is played by voice. An audio conference is integrated into the game: debates, alliances, and dirty tricks are negotiated in real time, by voice.
A scoring system that rewards ethics as much as strategy, to learn to distinguish facts, interpret sources, and debate collectively.
Designed as a training tool, deployed among high school students, university students, and trainee journalists.
