Ramage Games is an independent video game studio founded by Rémi Gourrierec, a creator, game designer, and creative director based in Nantes. We develop original experiences where art direction, game design, and environmental storytelling come together to create accessible, sensitive, and instantly recognizable games.
Our approach is based on a simple idea: every mechanic must tell something. Whether it's a gesture, a space, an object, or a gameplay constraint, we aim to create clear, elegant systems that carry emotion. This vision was notably expressed through Blanc, a cooperative black-and-white tale co-produced with Casus Ludi and published by Gearbox Publishing, for which Rémi Gourrierec served as creative and art director. With its minimalist aesthetic and an experience designed to bring players together, Blanc reflects our taste for games that prioritize clarity, poetry, and the power of images.
Ramage Games continues its journey today with One Move Away, our first project fully driven by the studio. This first-person narrative puzzle game invites players to prepare moves, organize memories, stack objects, and discover, through what is taken or left behind, the intimate stories of several characters. Behind a familiar and universal action, we explore life transitions, personal choices, and how objects can become fragments of memory.
We love designing warm, readable, and expressive games that can reach a wide audience without sacrificing a strong authorial identity. Our studio is built on a culture of independent creation, fueled by experimentation, game jams, comics, illustration, and constant attention to game feel. Through each of our projects, we champion a demanding, human, and creative production where every visual or interactive detail contributes to the overall experience.
