Pink Bean Studio creates accessible and social indie games, designed to play, learn, challenge yourself, and share good times together.

Description

Pink Bean Studio is an independent video game studio founded in Montpellier by Antoine Teuf, the original creator of Worldle. Our adventure was born from a simple idea: designing games that are easy to discover, accessible to as many people as possible, and above all capable of creating moments of sharing. Friends, families, colleagues, or online communities: we want to offer experiences that you can easily send to someone with a simple "try this!", then compare, discuss, and share together.

This desire directly influences the way we create. We particularly favor games playable directly from a browser, in order to limit the barriers between the urge to play and the start of a game. No need for specific equipment or a long installation: our creations are designed to naturally find their place in a group conversation, a channel between colleagues, or a community gathered around a shared passion. We thus seek to recapture a form of immediate, friendly, and universal gaming.

Our catalog illustrates this philosophy through several concepts blending culture, reflection, and accessible mechanics. Timeswipe, for example, invites players to test their historical knowledge by determining whether various events occurred before or after a given year. Songswipe applies this intuitive mechanic to the world of music, while Split Chess reimagines chess by allowing players to split the timeline and play simultaneously on multiple boards.

With Treasure Guessr, we continue this exploration of social gaming and discovery. The principle is to navigate a world map to find the location of a treasure as quickly as possible, with different zoom levels gradually serving as hints. An editor also allows players to place their own treasures and share custom games with their loved ones, naturally extending the experience beyond individual play.

At Pink Bean Studio, we want to preserve this lighthearted, curious, and friendly approach to video games. We favor concepts that can be understood in moments, yet are engaging enough to make you want to come back, progress, and above all get other players involved. Our goal is to create games that circulate, are shared, and become little meetups between friends, loved ones, colleagues, and communities around the world.
