Opus Major is a video game studio based in Paris, founded in 2023 by Jean-Nicolas Vernin and Pierre-Armand Nicq. Our mission is to "make the whole world play together" by creating experiences that amplify our social connections.
Our first project, Opus#1, is a cross-platform multiplayer game set in a vast and joyful universe where music is at the heart of the experience. Players will embody heroes joining forces to combat an evil force threatening to destroy life and music in the world. This magical journey will allow players to express their hearts and souls while strengthening bonds of friendship through the power of music.
Our team, composed of passionate and experienced professionals, is committed to delivering unforgettable gaming experiences that bring players from around the world closer together. We firmly believe that the combination of music and video games can create lasting memories and strengthen social bonds.
In March 2025, we raised $10 million in funding led by Griffin Gaming Partners, with participation from Alven, to support our vision and the development of our first opus.
