Awesome Game Concepts is an independent video game development studio based in Montpellier. Our ambition is to design experiences capable of leaving a lasting impression on players, placing solid game mechanics, immersive worlds, and a genuine emotional dimension at the heart of every project. We see video games as a tremendous way to tell stories, to make people feel, and to let everyone live a story that belongs to them.
Our creative approach is based on experimentation and player involvement. We imagine experiences where choices, interactions, and consequences take center stage, with particular attention paid to narrative and replayability. Our team is organized around a core of talents, supplemented as needed for each production by specialists in development, art direction, narrative design, musical composition, or production. This organization allows us to bring together the skills suited to the identity and ambitions of each of our projects.
This philosophy is expressed in particular through Witch Hunters, our first-person narrative investigation game blending mysticism, RPG, roguelite, and psychological horror. In the oppressive atmosphere of Oakwood Manor, the player must investigate, interrogate suspects, and make decisions that can transform the course of their story. Thanks to procedural storytelling and mechanics inspired by tabletop role-playing games, each playthrough can reveal new truths and offer a different experience.
Our journey has also been built around projects in a variety of genres, from the mobile racing game Need for Touring to experimental creations made during game jams. This diversity fuels our expertise and our desire to always explore new concepts.
At Awesome Game Concepts, we want to create with our community rather than simply for it. Player feedback contributes to our thinking and to the evolution of our productions.
