Founded in 1991, the University of Artois is a public institution of higher education and research located in the Hauts-de-France region. It operates across five campuses: Arras (headquarters), Béthune, Douai, Lens, and Liévin, ensuring proximity to students and local socio-economic stakeholders.

Academic Programs

The University of Artois offers a wide range of programs, from undergraduate to doctoral levels, in the following fields:

Arts, Literature, Languages: programs in modern literature, applied foreign languages, performing arts, etc.

Law, Economics, Management: courses in law, economics, business management, etc.

Humanities and Social Sciences: programs in history, geography, sociology, etc.

The university comprises eight Teaching and Research Units (UFR), two University Institutes of Technology (IUT), and an engineering school, the École d'Ingénieurs de l'Artois.
