The Institute of Digital Creation and Animation (ICAN) is a Parisian higher education institution dedicated to training in digital design, 2D/3D animation, and game design. Since 2022, ICAN has welcomed its students to a modern 3,000 m² campus located at 64 Rue du Ranelagh in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Designed to foster creativity and innovation, this campus features cutting-edge facilities, including a virtual reality room, a TV studio, a photo studio, coworking spaces, a fab lab, writing walls, and a relaxation area.
ICAN offers programs from high school diploma to Master's level, leading to state-recognized Professional Certifications at levels 6 and 7. Students can choose among three main specializations:
Game Design: covering the entire video game creation process, from writing to distribution, with specializations in Game Art, Game Programming, and Level Design.
Animation 2D/3D: focused on creating synthetic images and animated films, including modules such as 3D animation, motion design, graphic illustration, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality.
Web & Digital: encompassing graphic communication, web language mastery, digital design, UX Design, as well as project management in e-marketing.
ICAN's pedagogy is centered on project-based learning and workshops, enabling students to develop a strong portfolio featuring video game prototypes, animated short films, assignments for digital agencies, or startup projects. The school also encourages work-study programs, providing students with valuable professional experience and facilitating their entry into the job market.
