ITS MISSIONTo meet the artistic skills needs of companies in the Virtual Reality field

Originally named ESCIN when it was founded in 2003 by ISM (Institut Supérieur des Métiers de Laval), this program was created to address the artistic skills needs of companies in the Virtual Reality sector.

Initially located in the premises of Ingénierium, which at the time gathered companies, a resource and training center, it has from the beginning collaborated with professionals, whether for teaching interventions, internships, or concrete educational projects.

EDUCATIONTwo cycles, two objectivesBachelor's in Video Games and Interactive Media

The Bachelor's in Information-Communication, specializing in Video Games and Interactive Media, trains creative professionals in visual and interactive infographic communication for video games and virtual reality over four years.

It awards a Bac+3 degree, offers twice the number of hours compared to a traditional university bachelor's program, and combines theoretical courses with professional projects.

Professional Bachelor's in Real-Time 3D Graphics

The Bachelor's in Sound and Image Techniques trains, over two years, specialists in real-time 3D graphics capable of working in diverse sectors such as animation, healthcare, education, heritage, culture, or video games.

Real-time 3D is the technology used in video games, virtual reality, and augmented reality. It allows traveling in a 3D virtual space, manipulating objects, and interacting with characters. Its use is increasingly expanding, both for entertainment applications and for training, industrial design, museum exhibitions, promotion, etc...

Housing?On campus, the student residence 'Thérèse Rondeau' accommodates 39 young people year-round under ideal conditions for daily life and study.Dining options?On campus, the Open Café is available to students. Open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM, it offers breakfasts, sandwiches, pasta boxes, and a daily hot meal for lunch. A vending machine and microwaves are available in the kiosk (open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day).Try the university?If you're a high school student in your junior or senior year and interested in the exciting world of digital technology, our 'Try the University' program offers you the opportunity to enroll, free of charge, in one or more first-year courses of the Video Games and Interactive Media Bachelor's degree.
