Umeshu Lovers is a French visual development and video game creation studio, founded in 2018 by concept artist Sylvain Sarrailh and game designer Arnaud Mollé. Based in Toulouse, we have built a talented team of around 20 people, specializing in artistic design and the development of games with striking art directions and innovative mechanics.
Our studio was born from the desire to create unique gaming experiences, combining strong artistic direction with immersive storytelling. Our first project, "Forest of Liars," embodies this ambition by offering a narrative adventure set in a lush and mysterious forest.
Alongside our own productions, we provide high-quality visual development services for films, animations, games, and advertisements. Our versatile team excels in areas such as concept art, 3D modeling, character design, UX/UI design, and development, enabling us to bring our clients' ideas to life.
Our game "Danghost," released in 2023, is an arcade puzzle game inspired by fighting games, where players take on the role of an exorcist capturing small ghosts. Playable solo, it truly shines in local multiplayer mode.
We also developed "Graine," a mobile platform puzzle game where the player helps a small seed find a safe place to grow into a beautiful flower. The game focuses on creating plant-based platforms to guide the seed while avoiding dangers.
Our commitment to visual excellence and innovation has allowed us to collaborate with prestigious clients such as Disney, Apple, and Guerrilla Games, contributing to diverse projects ranging from video games to luxury.
In 2024, we joined the first cohort of the Cinema, Audiovisual & Animated Image Accelerator launched by Bpifrance and the CNC, recognizing our development potential and our contribution to the French creative industry.
