Founded in 2022, Sunny Lab Games is an independent French studio based in the Paris region, born from our shared passion for narrative games and our desire to tell stories that carry hope. Our team brings together professionals who have honed their expertise on productions of varied profiles, from console and PC games to mobile experiences. This diversity of experience now fuels a shared vision: to create sincere and memorable worlds, capable of addressing human emotions and contemporary issues with sensitivity, optimism, and a touch of magic.
This philosophy comes to life through The Witch’s Bakery, our Cozy Adventure RPG set in a modern and warm-hearted Paris. The player takes on the role of Lunne, a young witch full of enthusiasm who opens a bakery not quite like any other: thanks to her powers, her creations can help the locals soothe and heal their emotions.
The adventure is structured around Lunne’s daily life. The day is devoted to cooking and magic, while the evenings invite you to roam Paris, meet its inhabitants, and develop new relationships. The night, meanwhile, allows you to rest and hone your abilities. Through this gameplay loop, we aim to combine the warmth of a cozy experience with a narrative adventure that gently addresses deeper emotional subjects.
The artistic identity also plays an essential role in our work. For The Witch’s Bakery, we blend inspirations drawn from Japanese animation and romantic Impressionism, while celebrating Paris, French culture, and its gastronomy. Croissants, baguettes, and other specialties thus become full-fledged elements of a colorful universe where cooking, magic, and human relationships meet.
