NaturalPad is a video game development studio based in Montpellier, specializing in creating playful solutions for healthcare. Founded in 2013, our company emerged from the collaboration between movement science researchers and human-machine interface experts. Our mission is to promote adapted physical activity and rehabilitation through innovative and motivating video games.
Our flagship product, MediMoov, is a motion-based gaming platform designed to facilitate rehabilitation and encourage better lifestyle habits. Since its commercialization in 2016, MediMoov has been adopted by over 136 healthcare and medico-social institutions, such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and medico-educational institutes. This easy-to-install device adapts to each user's physical and cognitive abilities without requiring direct contact, making it particularly relevant in the current health context.
Our team, composed of 15 video game enthusiasts and healthcare professionals, works closely with caregivers to develop tailor-made solutions that meet users' specific needs. We adopt an agile and user-centered approach, ensuring our games are both fun and therapeutically effective. Our commitment to research is reflected in our participation in 15 research projects and the completion of 7 clinical studies, demonstrating the efficacy of our solutions.
In addition to MediMoov, we have developed games like BeatWorkers, a mobile game that combines rhythm and construction, showcasing our ability to create engaging playful experiences for the general public.
