Magic Design Studios is an independent video game development studio founded in 2015 and based in Montpellier, France. Our mission is to create limitless adventures that come to life with every click, offering unforgettable experiences to players.
Our team consists of seasoned experts from the video game industry, who have contributed to iconic titles such as Rayman and Assassin's Creed at Ubisoft, as well as creative talents from the indie game sector.
In January 2019, we launched our first game, "Unruly Heroes", an award-winning platformer inspired by the Chinese novel "Journey to the West", available on consoles, PC, and mobile.
Our second title, "Have a Nice Death", is a hand-drawn 2D roguelike where the player embodies Death, an overworked CEO. The 1.0 version of the game has been available on PC and Nintendo Switch since March 22, 2023.
