DISTANT SHORE is a video game development studio committed to creating immersive and powerful worlds that address ecological issues and climate change. Since its founding, our studio has been dedicated to crafting video games that immerse players in impactful realities inspired by our own world. Our first project, BRETAGNE, embodies this vision: a sandbox action-adventure game where players explore a French region, Brittany, devastated by climate collapse.
In BRETAGNE, exploration and survival are at the heart of the experience. Through innovative gameplay, players take on the role of a character equipped with a magnetic glove, allowing them to interact with the environment by moving, twisting, or breaking metal objects. This unique mechanic opens up a range of creative and strategic possibilities for solving puzzles and overcoming challenges in an open world where every discovery is a step toward understanding the impact of climate change.

The DISTANT SHORE studio is composed of veterans from the video game industry, having worked on prestigious titles such as Furi, DeadCore, LA Noire VR, Tomb Raider, Pax Dei, Narcosis, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Jusant. With this accumulated expertise, we are capable of creating gaming experiences that are unique, immersive, and responsible, while remaining at the forefront of technical and narrative innovation.
