ASM-Games is an independent French video game development studio, created in January 2020 with a simple ambition: to imagine experiences capable of entertaining players while introducing them to endearing stories and worlds in which they will want to invest themselves. Our small team brings together passionate people who put their skills and creativity at the service of carefully designed projects, while preserving the identity and freedom that are unique to independent development.
Our first project, Oaths of Light, fully reflects this vision. This 3D RPG takes us into the kingdom of Meadran alongside Eden, a young woman whose daily life is about to be turned upside down by a succession of events that will lead her into an adventure far greater than she ever imagined. Through a colorful world imbued with magic and mysteries, we want to offer an adventure in which exploration, encounters, and storytelling play an essential role.
With Oaths of Light, we also place particular importance on the player's involvement in how the story unfolds. The decisions made during the adventure can have consequences on the events and the various branches of the narrative. Our approach to the RPG is also accompanied by a combat system inspired by JRPGs, combining turn-based mechanics with a temporal dimension that encourages you to think and act quickly.
The first chapter of Oaths of Light marks an important milestone in the ASM-Games adventure. Behind the project is a small team where programming, graphic creation, 3D modeling, music, and sound design come together to bring a single universe to life. This organization allows us to maintain a personal approach to creation and to gradually build our studio identity.
Through our games, above all we want to share our passion for RPGs, tell memorable stories, and offer worlds that make you want to explore them. ASM-Games thus continues its independent adventure with the desire to develop sincere, accessible experiences shaped with passion, while creating a lasting relationship with the players who accompany us.
