Alt Shift is an independent video game studio based in Montpellier, in the south of France.
Founded in 2010 by university friends driven by a desire to innovate, the studio is now led by a senior team of passionate designers.

Among the studio's notable achievements are:
Crying Suns: A rogue-lite tactical game that puts the player in the role of a space fleet commander exploring a mysteriously fallen empire. Inspired by works such as "Dune" and "Foundation," the game offers a narrative-rich experience where each successful playthrough reveals more truths about the Empire and the protagonist.
Not Not - A Brain-Buster: A puzzle game that challenges the player's logic and orientation. Written instructions guide the player to swipe in the correct direction (up, down, left, or right) to progress. With increasing levels of complexity, the game tests both logic and dexterity.
Not Not 2 - A Brain Challenge: An enhanced version of the original game, offering new modes, collectibles, daily challenges with shared rankings, a dashboard to track progress, and a completely redesigned layout.
Alt Shift has also collaborated with various companies and institutions to design and develop web and mobile applications, incorporating gamification methods. The studio has worked on projects for EDF, Sud de France Développement, and other organizations, showcasing its versatility and expertise in creating engaging digital solutions.
